Austin, TXI recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and on my way to Graduate school. I have followed The Secret for years but never realized that I could apply it to all aspects of my life, not just a few.
When I was in college studying for my bachelor’s degree, I got really bored. I knew that I could achieve great things but the lack of challenge was holding me back. So I created my own. I applied for the things I wanted like national and international awards. I did research papers and labs, and I continuously pushed my limits further. I used The Secret to get me what I wanted by acting ‘as if”, having an attitude of gratitude, and making vision boards.
A lot of professors and friends caught wind of my new success and basically told me to stop. They said that I was just trying to boost my qualifications or that I just got “lucky”. I lost a lot of friends and had professors try to make my grades lower.
I graduated but had trouble finding a job I could use my skills in. So I applied for graduate school. I couldn’t get the terrible things people would tell me out of my head but I tried anyway. I used The Secret again to act as if, have an attitude of gratitude, and to make a vision board so I felt like I got into the top schools.
Lo and behold, I got rejected from every lower ranked school but I got into the number one school in the world and an Ivy League!!! With funding!!!
If anyone is saying that The Secret does not work, I have news for you, The Secret works. What happened to the naysayers you might ask? It took a lot, but I pushed through all of their words and used The Secret to soften my heart towards them. Just like in The Secret movie, many of my old friends and professors moved away or transferred to new departments. The department that was giving me the most trouble is now facing a serious trial with the school board and is starting to get dismantled and might cease to exist pretty soon.
Now I am on my way to achieving the life I want! Thank God! Thank you Rhonda for making The Secret!
