I want to give thanks to God, Rhonda, the Universe, my angels, and all that is good in the world for blessing me with such a fulfilling life.
A week ago, I found a Groupon online for tickets to see a band called Paramore on Oct 23rd. They were on sale for $20, and I thought, “What a steal! I must buy them.” When I tried to locate a friend to accompany me though, no one was available. I let the matter go, but three days later, I received a phone call from my mother notifying me about the tickets. I told her that I couldn’t find someone to go with but the desire to attend the concert never left my mind.
Two days later, out of the blue, while studying, I asked my friend if she liked Paramore. She mentioned the concert, and bada bing, bada boom, I purchased the tickets.
Literally, less than 12 hours later, she discovers that she cannot attend because of a prior engagement. I worked quickly to sell them, and with the law of attraction, I had three buyers contact me within a day. As soon as I set up a meeting time to exchange the money and tickets, I had a deep-seated gut feeling that kept telling me I should attend the concert. I had gone through too much not to attend, and I had yet to go to a concert since May.
Today, when I met up with the buyers, who were two teenage girls like me, they inquired why I was no longer attending. I mentioned how I have a friend who works at a radio station and was giving away tickets. I told them that I was going to win them and, therefore, had no more use for the ones I sold to them. Keep in mind here that the radio show was not until midnight, and I still had to answer a trivia question on Facebook and be the first to respond with the correct answer in order to win. I wished them a fun time, and they told me they hoped to see me the next day.
From 10 pm to 12 am, I listened intently to my friend’s radio show, anxiously awaiting for her to release the question. At 12:04, after constant refreshes of the Facebook page, the question had been posted, and I answered it within seconds. Unfortunately, I had been several seconds too late, and someone else had beat me to the answer. Bummed, I left my computer alone. 15 minutes later, I noticed that the person who had commented had deleted their comment, and it looked as if I had been the first to respond to the trivia question.
A half hour later, my name was posted on the radio show’s FB page stating that I had won two concert tickets to Paramore! Could this really be happening??? Yes!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I graciously asked my friend who hosts the show to accompany me, and it turned out that her meeting, which was on the same day as the concert, had been canceled, so I have finally found a partner to go with to the concert! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, I kept pulling Paramore tickets out of thin air. After selling my first pair, not only did I save $40, but I also got the great satisfaction of winning concert tickets through a radio station! Life is good, so is God, and so is the Universe. I am blessed and grateful for it all.
Thank you for The Secret!
