Quit Smoking You Can Do It
Submitted by: Stacey
DelawareI have been attracting things my whole life, just did not know it!
I wanted to share this with you because I know you are looking for it. I smoked off and on from the time I was 16 and always wanted to quit. I would quit for awhile and always went right back when I would be stressed or I was out having a few drinks. You know the drill.
Well I just started loa and really did not have a full grasp on what it was. I was smoking outside one day and just thought to myself, you know I am just going to smoke. I am not going to judge myself, I am not going to think thoughts of how bad it is or that I stink or that I really should quit. I just smoked. I went out, lit up and tried to stay neutral without condemning myself. I did this for one week. At the end of the week I just stopped.
It was over, I was done. I had no desire to smoke any more.
So what did I do?
#1. I gave up resistance to smoking and thoughts about smoking.
#2. I had no expectation to quit. I was just smoking, the thought was whatever happens happens, I will quit one day.
#3. When I smoked I just thought of other things.
This was almost 4 years ago and I truly have no desire to smoke and trust me I have been with smokers while drinking and if the urge comes up it’s just a passing thought.
You WILL quit!
