I just want to say that I read The Secret stories almost daily as part of my ‘Secret daily dose’, and I always wondered (and hoped) that I would one day be able to post a success story. Well today’s the day!! I can’t believe that the Secret really really does work! It’s been a month now and I’ve been recently starting to maybe doubt the Secret a little, since nothing major was happening even though I was applying it full force.

I first saw The Secret on Oprah, bought the book and devoured it up within days, and am now waiting for the DVD. I have been practicing the Secret ever since.

An envelope from the government came a few days ago in my mailbox. It was an application for subsidized child day care (or so I thought). I threw it out thinking, we don’t qualify for this as our kids are not in daycare. I remember receiving the application last year as well, and I threw that one out too. Each time I received it, I asked my husband if he knew what it was (as he’s pretty savvy about government policies, etc.), but he didn’t know.

Apparently, I thought I had thrown out the application, but my husband said I had left it on the car seat and he’d been staring at it for days and days and said he decided he was going to call once and for all to find out what the heck it really was. Well, it turns out it isn’t for just daycare, its for working families (even stay at home moms) that have children under the age of seven, to help with child raising costs. We have two young children under that age. And the best part is, we qualified for back pay!! I confirmed we do qualify, and now I just have to apply and wait for my back pay!! At the most modest amount, it will probably be upwards of 2000.00, probably more!! Thank you universe!!

Anyone who is now reading this and are feeling a little doubtful sometimes of the Secret, trust ME – it does work!! I look forward to receiving more ‘lost’ money, and I’ll be thanking the universe all day long today!!
