After finishing University, I moved back home and decided after six months that I would like to find a flat or shared home with other young professionals. That night I wrote in my ‘magic’ lilac diary exactly what I wanted in a flat, physically, but also how I’d feel emotionally there. I wrote about my perfect environment and explained in detail exactly what that would be to me. Excitedly, I instantly started browsing for flats online and lined up five viewings for the following evening. I went to sleep dreaming of my perfect flat and had faith in the process that everything would work out for me.

At the end of the very first viewing of the evening, I knew I had found my perfect flat. It was everything I wanted. The people were friendly and the house was fantastic. However, there was a lot of competition but I had faith that it was the flat for me. Later on the same evening, I heard back that I was chosen! The search was over.

It took 24 hours from writing down exactly what I wanted to receiving it the next evening. If I can do it, you can too! This wasn’t the last time I wrote about my perfect situation in my magic lilac diary. I also wrote about my perfect partner, as well as two additional homes over the years and each time I have received what I had wished for.
