I wanted to share a nice experiment I did with The Secret. I’m in my early 20s and am only now starting to really LOVE and know who I am. I used to have really low self-esteem growing up and never thought I was pretty.

Anywhoo, I read a story on here about a woman who wanted to be called vivacious, so she wrote it down and really believed that’s what she was. I wanted to test it out for myself, so I wrote on a post-it note, “SEXY.” Sure enough, I kept hearing it out of guy’s mouths. I was shocked. I only wrote it down, believed it, and kind of just went on living life. One important thing, though, was that I felt good about myself.

I thought about this, and decided to try it again, so about a week ago I wrote, “CUTE” on a post-it note and once again believed it and stuck it in my drawer.

Today at work, a woman came up to me with her daughter, asking where the restroom was. After I showed her, she looked at me and said, “You are too cute, sweetheart!” I just looked at her and smiled.

If you don’t feel good about yourself and there is something you want to change, start with little steps. Visualize exactly the person that you want to be, and write it down! But don’t worry your life away thinking about it too hard. Write it down, believe it, ask for it, and let go. Trust that the Universe will do it for you. 🙂
