I have recently read many books about self-help and self-healing. And I’ve always been grateful to the universe or God, for they were sent to me. And I think it was because of my gratitude that I was given the most wonderful of them all, The Secret.

It was a year ago, and I was in my bedroom playing computer games when I heard my family talking about a movie called The Secret. And they were saying that it’s about the law of attraction. So they got the movie and watched it and without me knowing it they put it to practice. Then since my sister was coming home from Sweden after 2 years, my brother asked her to buy us the Audio Book CDs of The Secret. So she came home in summer and brought us the CDs. When I realized that the principles of the book are the same ones I’ve been practicing myself I was astounded. So I started listening to the CDs and have done so many times ever since. Now here is the list of the things that have happened to me and my family.

My younger brother who is 22 years old is very interested in cars. And he has always liked owning a car, although in my country owning a car for a 22 year old is not easy because it’s expensive and also making money is hard. But this is all before he knew the Secret. After he saw the movie he started to use the principles to attract a car. And this was like 9 months ago. Then my father decided to buy a new car and he sold his car to my brother very cheap! And he could always pay the price on a monthly basis! And now he’s working on getting more of his wishes come true, one of which is a better and a brand new car!

My mom visualized working with computers, although she didn’t have any prior knowledge on working with computers. And then she found out about a computer class in the neighberhood, and she enrolled there and now she knows how to work with computers! She’s so happy! Also, she had always dreamed of going on a trip to northwest of Iran but always, due to her children, she never did because she passed all her time with us :P… But then she was going to some group meetings of the elderly women of the neighborhood, and they had these trips to all over of Iran, and the one they wanted to go was northwest of Iran! She was so happy again!

My parents have always had quarrels and their relationship was in turmoil recently, and even I had very negative feelings towards my father. But after reading books about love and gratitude, the ones written by Catherine Ponders and The Secret, my relationship has improved a lot with my dad, and I really feel I’m loving him more than before. Also the relationship between my mom and dad has improved a lot, and my mom is always grateful for having seen The Secret movie because she has seen its effects!

And as for me, well the list is endless. There are endless small and big things that have happened to me using the Secret. I can’t write them all here. But here are some:

I was thinking of attracting a job with good salary. And then my brother who owns a magazine asked me to go work for them 2 days a week with a good salary!

I always wished and still wish to have a piano, but I’ve always known it’s very expensive and my dad can’t afford it. But I focused on the things I wanted and started being grateful for them, and as my relationship with my dad grew better, he decided to buy for me a Keyboard with a piano sound!!!

Also, I tried visualizing 20/20s for my grades in university. And although I didn’t get them, my overall grade improved a lot, and now I hope it to reach 20 this semester and if not, I’m still sure they will get better because I have those 20s written all over my bedroom walls.

And now me and my family are focusing on winning a lottery whose reward is a BMW7 which is worth $100,000, and my dad already says that we have won. So I’m also trying to be positive on that and because of that I try to read the book even more.

Also, every now and then, when I feel down and get negative, I come to this site and to this story section and read people’s stories and it really fills me with positive energy. I also translate these for my mom sometimes (as she doesn’t speak English) and she’s also thankful and happy 🙂

I just want to say how grateful I am to The Secret and also to Rhonda Byrne and all the amazing teachers of The Secret, who together brought this knowledge to the world.
