London, UKI am a 30 year old gay man, working professional and living the life of my dreams.
In my early 20’s I was very unhappy and fighting a battle of homosexaulity. I could not face the truth and could not understand what was happening to me.
I blamed my family and everyone for my problems. I worked as a waiter for a restaurant and was very good at my job. The owner loved me and trusted me with their business.
I turned to drugs after a break up with my first love, a very harsh chemical sold in South Africa called “‘cat”‘. A drug that is cheap and deadly. I became addicted to the substance and lost my job for stealing money. My family came to my rescue but after many attempts to stop the habit I was going one way. Suicide was an option at one time, and after losing my dignity and myself, my father pulled the family together and locked me in the house. I was like a child which had to go to work and come home.
My mother got me The Secret DVD and I saw the show on Oprah. I began to visualise and created a vision board of a new life in London. A few months into my rehabilitation, the company that I was working for closed down due to financial loss. I was left with no work and limited choices. I had made some contacts in a hotel in the UK and decided to contact them. I got a job and rushed to get my visa for employment in the UK.
Five years later I am working in London as a successful manager. I have been clean for all this time and am living the life of my dreams. I have practiced the Magic of Gratitude and have transformed my life. You can change any situation in your life. I believe in the power of the mind and positive feelings.
