Persistence Is Key.
Hey everyone who is reading this now! I read many stories here and most of them start with thanking Rhonda Byrne and The Secret team and I am not surprised by that. Having this opportunity I would love to thank Rhonda and The Secret team and everyone else who worked on this project because you all did a great job for human beings.
This is my first story and I wanted to share it with all of you. Actually, before getting what I wanted using The Secret I said to myself that if I get this, I would definitely write about it and share it on The Secret website. So here I am, an excited girl who obtained what she wanted!
I did my Bachelor’s degree in my home country. After completing it I wanted to get some work experience because I did not want to pursue my Master’s right after my Bachelor’s. I really wanted to be introduced to professional life. So I got employed and then during the second year of my work experience I decided to pursue my Master’s degree.
I started looking for scholarships to do my Master’s. The thing was that I wanted to do it in Europe, but I did not know how. I really wanted to get a full scholarship for my Master’s so I would not rely on my family’s financial abilities and to be independent.
During my vacation, my brother who was going to apply for Universities that year, invited me to join the education fair. I clearly remember that on that day it was raining, and I do not like going out when it rains. The second thing was that participants had to register online to enter the fair, I was lazy to do it but I did. I wanted to support by brother and to be there with him if he found suitable universities for himself. So I went there and thank God I did!
I found out about French full scholarships for Master’s programmes and later I found even more about it on their website. I had applied previously to other scholarships but had failed so I was afraid of failure. However, this time I tried my best. I identified the University where I wanted to study. Uploaded the pictures of that city in France and imagined how I was going to take this picture of mine with this background when I go there. I imagined how happy I would be when I received a letter stating that I got the scholarship. I felt as if I already had it. So I did my best and submitted my application.
After a week I was invited to an interview. Before going there, I imagined how pleasant people there would be and what a good impression of myself I would leave. And yes, I really felt nice and comfortable during the interview and after some time I got the official letter stating that I got the scholarship. Voila! I was and am so happy and I really grateful to Universe. Thank you!
Now I am pursuing my Master’s in France and thinking about my next goal. Hope to come back here to write another successful story of mine.
