So I read The Secret back in 2010 and for the past 8 years I had tried, on and off, to work with this power. I sometimes manifested some small things but I never was able to manifest the big things. I tried and tried. I have read countless stories on this website to see how other people get their wishes granted so easily and to hopefully copy their methods! I got The Secret audiobook and listened to it over and over again but no luck. The thing is, I did not understand The Secret principles in depth.

So this time I re-read The Secret and tried to take in its knowledge on a deeper level. The following words of Rhonda really struck a chord with me: ‘You must act, speak and think as though you are receiving it now. Why? The Universe is a mirror, and the law of attraction is mirroring back to you your dominant thoughts.’

The Universe is a mirror! And a mirror will only reflect back what you put in front of it.

So I tried to test it out with my periods. Since the time I first had my periods when I was 12, it was so painful that I always had to take pain killers. So in the last 18 years, I have taken pain killers almost every single time since the pain was really unbearable. So this time when I had my periods, I told myself ‘My periods are always easy and pleasant. I feel great from the start to the end. And my periods only last for 3 days’. I kept repeating this a few times and believed it. I then went to bed and woke up the next morning pain free!!

So this is a great example of how the Universe works as a mirror. Whatever you put in front of the mirror it will reflect back. It has to! I still have a long way to go, but this is a good start for me. I wish you all the very best.
