Patience is Key

I was having sharp pains when I would run, and I am an athlete. I could not run my fastest unless my back was feeling 100%. The pain started in February 2011 and I struggled walking in the hallways, rolling out of bed, and most importantly, learning. The pain lasted all the way up until June 2011.
My state track meet was coming up and the pain was still there. All of these months, I was focusing on the pain, and each day I would fear waking up with the pain still there. I was extremely worried that I would not be able to train again. Long story short, I visualized myself running without any pain, and said positive affirmations about the health of my back, and a week after the track meet was over, my pain was gone! All I had to do was be patient. Although it did not go away for my meet, I was able to muster through the pain and run. Be patient and the healing will come.
