Thank you for sharing this and thank you to everyone who posted stories here! The stories really validated the advice about being grateful for positive situations that you already have and creating a future you want based on your thoughts.
I said to myself that I would like to post a story here once I received my exams back from midterms.
Everything just occurred in my favor. When I took the exam, I did the best I could. And later I found out that the professor had decided to raise the points on a certain essay question, one that I did really well in.
The week of midterms I wrote down that I wanted to pass all my exams with at least a B. I kept thinking and feeling positivity about passing the exam. I thought positively when I studied. And I thought positively during the exam and after.
This helped me to keep going on with my day even if I felt down after I took the exam. I just stayed positive, and I ended up doing well.
