Overcoming Challenges.

Lewisville, TxEnergetic and hardworking cheerleader at heart. Everyone believes I am Superman.
A few weeks back I had a switchover scheduled at work where I changed out from one spaghetti recipe to another spaghetti recipe. I am a Press Machine Operator at a Pasta Production Plant. The switchover involved changing out the pasta shape molds. That kind of process usually takes close to an hour to do. They wanted it done and up and running within 30 minutes of shutting down. It is almost impossible to do all the processes it takes to make a complete switch over like that and also have it up and running in that time frame. Even my Supervisor said to just get it running when I can. Instead of being like, “I will not be able to get it done in that time”, I decided to take the “challenge accepted” approach.
Once the time came around, I did everything I needed to do to make it happen. I did not rush it but I did not lollygag either. I was actually able to get the machine back up and running a few minutes earlier than scheduled. During the time I took before I even started to do the process, I used that time and imagined getting it done within the alotted time frame. I really felt the accomplishment of making it happen.
And low and behold, I did it. I told them I am super human and that was how I made it happen! Thank you so much for The Power. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
