So a couple of weeks ago we fell in love with a new house. They will start building it in October but there were already lots of people who signed in for exactly that type of house so we thought that we would have very little luck that this could be our house. The next day we decided to take a chance and we signed in on the house. At that point, we were third on the list so there were 2 other people who were very interesting in buying this specific house.

During that time I asked my mom for her first copy of The Secret so I could read it and start changing my way of thinking and being. In just one day I had finished the book and then my boyfriend and I watched The Secret on Netflix. I started to think and speak differently about that specific house like it was already ours.

On the 4th of August, we had our information meeting for the house and at that point, we were second on the waiting list. The meeting went very well and I even told them that we were buying that house no matter what. The next day the first person on the list had his information meeting, so we had to wait at least a week to know if that person had accepted the house. On the same day, my boyfriend and I are walking to the cinema when I told him that we will get a phone call tomorrow and that the first person will back out of it, and the house will be ours.

Not even one hour later, I received that exact same phone call saying that the house was ours!

The best part of all this was that a year and a half ago I build a gingerbread house out of clay for my boyfriend and after looking at it again I realized that it was exactly the same house that we just bought! Except, of course, for all the candy and snow on it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
