Before a year ago I found out that I have “Amblyopia”, or lazy eye. It is the loss of one eye’s ability to see details. It is the most common cause of vision problems due to not developing normal sight during childhood in the process of brain growth. It commonly can be seen in children, but some times it cannot be detected until . adolescence. There are not any permanent treatments, it can only be corrected by patching the unaffected eye so that affected eye’s growth can be stimulating brain nerves focusing that eye.

After seeing the ophthalmologist I became very depressed that in my childhood my parents did not take care of me, they didn’t look after it, etc. These sorts of thoughts were making me too frustrated. Before going to the check up I had already seen the movie The Secret, read the books The Power and The Magic too, but I did not try it in my life, since I was a negative thinker.

After some days, I thought, why not The Secret? I determined that I must have my eye sight in a mean time. From that day before thinking anything I started patching everyday for one hour through my spectacles even though the doctor prescribed that “patching would not work due my age”, it would work if I patch for “years and years”. But I did not mention that doctor’s quotation.

Today again after a year, I checked up with the ophthalmologist and they concluded “My eye sight improved 70% than before, very good that you have done patching”.
I said to myself wow Vaibhav, that unexpected result only could come by Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret! I immediately Thanked each and every one, and everything.

Now I look forward to applying The Secret to every aspect of my life. I have dreams to be an astrophysicist at NASA, I already started working on it.
