On The Road To Recovery From Abdomen Pain.

TorontoA true believer, creator and manifester.
Let me start off by saying that I was skeptical.
Very skeptical. I had read The Secret a few years ago and in the midst of work, school and life in general, I had forgotten to integrate its teachings into my life.
I am a food blogger and like all foodies out there, I love trying new foods and cuisines. For the past year, I found myself let go of my once healthy lifestyle which included regular exercise and a healthy, lean diet. Not only did it affect my body but majorly affected my health as well. I began eating out a lot and I was on a roll of trying anything and everything while not exercising regularly. Not only did my body become lazy but I also starting having a lot of digestive issues.
During the past year, I started noticing a pinching pain on the side of my lower abdomen. At first, I paid no attention to it, however, as time went by the pain started to get worse on some days. I did countless check ups and even had gotten some medication but nothing helped! Wearing jeans was also a task because they would feel tight around my abdomen area and would hurt me. The doctor finally referred me to a specialist and he had requested me to get a few Xrays! The Xrays had come out normal with the only comment being that there was a little stool in my colon. The specialist also suspected IBS to be one of the reasons why the pain was reoccurring.
I also started to notice that mentally I would dwell on my pain a lot and focus on it too much. I would focus on the worst case scenarios relating to the pain and that would make the pain worse!
Finally, one day I decided that enough was enough! I was done feeling sick. I was done feeling in constant pain. I was done feeling helpless. I was done crying. I decided one night to close my eyes and just imagine myself as the healthiest version of myself and I began smiling. I put my headphones on and started to listen to happy music on YouTube. I was literally lying down in bed, eyes closed, smiling and dancing to the music! I felt so good! I began to use affirmations while my eyes were closed and started to tell myself that:
“My digestion is perfect. I always digest my food perfectly.”
“I am free from all stress.”
“I am in perfect health and in harmony with myself.”
“My colon and intestines are relaxed.”
“My body is healing right here, right now.”
“I am breaking free from all pain.”
I got up the next day and the first thing that I did was thank my body out loud for being healthy and pain free. I started to walk 45 minutes a day after each meal. Sometimes I would feel so lazy but I would still get up and exercise, no matter what!. I started to be more careful as to what I was consuming, food wise. Even if the pain would slowly creep back, I started to take deep breaths and not freak out. I would just keep reaffirming to myself that I am okay. I am completely alright. My body is healing itself.
So far the pain has definitely decreased a lot and I am finding myself being at peace again!
Just keep your mind in focus and focus only on the good. Feel healthy now. Feel good now. Feel amazing now. Laugh now. The Universe is working for you.
Sending lots of love and happiness to you all.
