Wish I May, Wish I Might

Paw Paw, MII'm a dreamer at heart and always have been since I was a child. Although I am 22, almost 23, I still feel and act like a 10 year old. I love to workout and stay active, read, and help take care of people. My dream is to be an early childhood teacher at the school I grew up in, have twin boys, and live comfortably.
I received “The Secret” for a Christmas gift from my mother two years ago. I think she thought I was a perfect candidate for it since at the time I was a very negative person and wasn’t happy in my life. I had been through a bad breakup and was single and struggling in all aspects of my life. I read it within two days and was so excited. Was this real? Could it be the answer I’ve been praying for? I hoped but had a hard time practicing visualizing what I wanted and expecting it.
I bought a notebook and wrote down everything I wanted in my life and when I “expected” it to happen. In three weeks I got a new car! I also made a list of everything I wanted in a mate and so on and so forth. I wrote that in March of that year I would meet my soul mate; I would meet him through fate and he would be my best friend. I wrote all of this down in January and then didn’t do much with it for awhile, and kind of forgot about it in a way.
March of that year my friend coaxed me to go out with her and some friends. I met a man. We spent the entire night talking. I moved probably four or five times after I turned 18 all around Michigan; north, east, south, and west. And I kid you not this man was in all the same cities in the same time periods as I. It amazes me we hadn’t met sooner. My only thinking is we were destined to meet at some point, but neither of us were ready at the time; different relationships, jobs, and just not being ready to settle down. In one week we have been together a year and it has been the best year of my life. The Secret helped us land a house, a beautiful house, and we remodeled the whole thing for a fraction of what it was supposed to cost.
Since The Secret I’ve read The Power (which I highly recommend) and many other books by other authors on the Law of Attraction. Ask, believe, receive. It’s simply that easy. I’ve had many doors and things open up because of The Secret. My next conquest I will get a high paying job I love, and my boyfriend will too. Both of us want to work closer to home, for more money. And for my birthday this year I’m getting an engagement ring (he just doesn’t know it yet, haha). So my story is To Be Continued
It’s never too late or impossible to change your life. And ALWAYS appreciate what you have. One of the things that really helped me was being grateful for everything in my life; even if it wasn’t the best, I was still grateful for it.
