I discovered The Secret in the year 2008, however, I had not fully grasped how to use and apply it. Never the less yesterday I really believed the Law of Attraction is really powerful and it works.

A month ago I started with my exams and I wanted to get distinctions for the modules I was going to write. I thought of The Secret as a tool to help me to achieve this. The reason I was not certain about getting distinctions is because i had to score really high marks in the exams since i did not qualify with good marks.

Before studying for an exam, I took my laptop, opened paint, and started painting beautiful and attractive backgrounds for setting them as screen savers. I would write the mark I wanted to get in the exam as well as wrote with different textiles, font and colours “PASSED WITH DISTINCTION” (that is how it appears on the report). I wrote this phrase “PASSED WITH DISTINCTION” all over the page. Whenever I open the laptop it is the first thing I see and when I see it, I start to visualise how I would feel opening my results and finding that.

For the first exam I had to get at least 94% to get a distinction and for the second one an 80. I continued on visualising getting those marks and feeling as I would feel when I received them. My friend said, “That is stupid and that is impossible.” Doubt did try to creep in but I quickly switched that feeling with a good feeling.

The day of the results came and I did not believe my eyes. I had got the two distinctions that I wanted to get. For the first exam I had to get 94% to get a distinction but I actually got 96%. For the second one I had to get 80% and I got 88%.

I was so taken aback and both my friend and I did not believe it.

The law of attraction really works, it is just unbelievable. You just think things into being. It is even better when you are Christian as it will help you understand better. The bible tells us that we were made “In the image of God and after his likeness.” This means as God is the creator we also have the ability to create.
