I always wanted to study abroad but I had no support from my family in terms of funds, as well as the fact that they were not ready to send me abroad, So I dropped my dream.

One day while talking to my friend, we shared details about studying abroad, the expenses, the living cost, fee structure and much more. Although I did not have enough money or support, by the end of our conversation, we decided to give it a try and decided to just start the procedure.

Then I asked my mum and she said yes. It was as if the Universe was arranging things for me. We went to the office, shared my educational background, and she said that we should just apply for an offer. Coincidentally, I got my provisional offer letter with condition of IELTS. Usually most people try to get this this IELTS at least 2 or 3 times, but I did it in one go without paying any fees for classes.

The next stage came which was fund arrangements. That was the main and most difficult step for me. I was frustrated from doing loan applications and meeting managers as the answer I was getting was ‘no’ because of no availability of security. The moment when your relatives stop taking your calls when you asked for help is so disappointing. When I ask to them to please give me answer, I wished that at least they would say no, so that I could try somewhere else.

Well, without losing hope and still having faith, I kept on trying and saying, “I am going! I don’t know how but I am going!”

Then I came across a government scheme for an education loan without any security. I started acting like my visa was already confirmed, cleared my wardrobe, separated my clothes, and giving away clothes that I did not need anymore. No doubt, I was applying late for my visa application but I got my loan approved with out difficulties and started my visa application.

My classes were to start on the 17th of January. I applied for the visa in the beginning of December. Then I booked my ticket for the 17th of January in mid December, without a confirmation for my visa but just on faith. Luckily I got my visa on the 13th of January and I came here for my future to live my dream. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A student who wanted to study abroad. Now I am here in Ireland for my studies because of the law of attraction, The Magic and The Secret. So do not stop dreaming, nothing is impossible. Just do something, anything. Just try, have faith, fall down, stand up, and try again!
