I had to share this amazing story about my 7 year old niece that happened today, it even blew me away!

So my niece was visiting and she lost a little slinky toy she had bought with her own money that same day. She was so upset that she couldn’t find it. She had been playing with it earlier but now did not know where it was. She was in the kitchen starting to cry and break down, saying that she couldn’t find it. That was when I thought to share what I had learned from The Secret.

I said, “I know a secret that can help you find it.” So she asked, “What is it? I explained that instead of getting upset she needed to imagine the slinky was in her hands and think, “Yay, I found my slinky!” At first, she was confused and said, “Imagine it where?” I said, “Imagine that you feel it in your hands and you have it now, that will help you find it.”

I walked away to start looking for it when all of a sudden she exclaimed, “It is in my hands!” And to our surprise, my mom had found it right then digging through a bag, and put it in her hand. My niece was so excited saying, “I was just imagining it was in my hands!” And I said, “See it works!” Then she wisely said, “So magic is kind of real”, and I said, “Yes you just have to believe.”

I then told her there is a Secret book for kids and she said “Could you get me that book for Christmas or Halloween?” So now I know what I am getting her, The Secret to Henry’s Imagination! And the best synchronicity is that I just found out the book is about a kid trying to find his missing toy and I had no idea! So here we were making something in real life happen, just like in the book. So I am sure she will love the book even more now after that experience.

This was so magical and special to share with her. I wish someone would have taught me The Secret principles at that age. I would have been so further along by now and had many more happy years during my youth with that knowledge. So I am really grateful to be able to now pass it on to her.
