Around 9 months ago I found these pair of glasses on the optician’s website and I screenshot the page. Whenever I went through my photo album I was always, for some reason, hesitant to delete the screenshot and so I left it. A few months later I made an appointment for an eye test. I’m ready to buy the pair of glasses I have wanted for so long however I couldn’t find it on the website!

I go to the optician’s store and show the picture to one of the most helpful workers there. Here’s where the screenshot comes in. On the photo itself was the product code number! If I had deleted the photo I would not of found the glasses in the first place! Even though they weren’t available in that specific store, the kind worker calls other branches of the store and gives them the code number. In my mind this whole time I simply told myself that I would order these glasses today. Then 15 minutes later in one of the stores they find the last pair of the glasses!! That was after I had been told that these glasses were discontinued from a couple of months ago.

It gets better. Originally the price of these glasses was around £125 as was shown on the photo but when I was going to pay the price on the screen came up as £30!!! I can tell you now I left that shop smiling. Even better, the estimated time my glasses would be done and ready was 2 to 3 weeks but just 3 days later they called me to tell me my glasses were ready to be collected!
