New Apartment In London.
Submitted by: Angy
London, UKOffice assistant for a construction company. Have known The Secret for 10 years.
The story is about my boyfriend and me getting an amazing, squeaky new 2 bedroom flat in London. The ones that live here know that to rent or to buy property here is a hell of a job, it takes time, effort and lots of money.
A little back story. A couple of months ago my boyfriend and me still lived in a shared house with his family. The house was lovely but I started getting into arguments with other housemates and it made me more and more miserable. My partner said that if I could find something we like we will move. I started looking for another place for us to move, so we could move out and live, just two of us, potentially in a studio flat. I looked every day. I everywhere, based on our income, but in the best case we could afford a carton box. But then I remembered The Secret. I gave it a shot.
Honestly, I was a skeptic. I visualized, yet half-heartedly. However, what made me feel good is looking and browsing pictures of nice, luxury apartments. Another thing, I work in the construction industry so having pictures of newly built flats is a daily thing for me, as well as seeing lovely apartments themselves. I remember whenever I was on site I was thinking that I wanted to be the one moving in. I saw others being moved in and I thought that soon it was going to be me.
To cut the story short, it happened within 2 months! I had to look for opportunities and I went through the entire internet to look for a way to get a home for ourselves. The opportunity came very quickly. I want to add that it was not an easy decision, we could have easily missed the opportunity. We had obstacles that seemed too big for us but finally, we we risked it. As they say, the Universe likes speed. We said yes. We paid fees. We told the family we were moving.
Days later we had a viewing. It was amazing. My boyfriend loved it. I loved it. The apartment was new, spacious, not a studio, not 1 bed, but a 2 bed flat, on the 13th floor and with amazing views. It was on a certain government scheme so way cheaper than on the regular market. My visualization materialized.
To conclude, all I want to say for those in doubt is, risk it. The Universe is generous but the things you want will most likely never materialize your way or with zero resistance. If you want a flat, most likely nobody will come and knock on your door to give you the keys. You will need to make certain decisions. Do you want your partner back? They will probably not knock on your door in the next hour. You will need to make certain decisions.
I am a witness for both of the stories, the one above and the comeback of my love. Both cases needed certain decisions from me. All I know is I am happy I made them. Thank you!
