I have watched The Secret as well as reading the books several times over the last 10 years! However, I don’t think I realized the power of LOA until I lost my beloved dog.

She is a princess that only wears dresses designed for her. She was my husband’s rock during a trying time in our 14 year marriage. We were having an argument and I decided to pack a bag to leave for the evening.

This night was a very cold, rainy night in January. As I was walking out the door she slipped through the door and ran away! She is a tiny long hair chihuahua. So of course we were worried sick that she may have drowned in a cold puddle of water that would turn to ice. She was gone for 2 days and after searching and searching for her we gave up hope. My husband was crying as if she was already dead.

Then suddenly it hit me. Things I had learned from The Secret we can apply to this very bad situation. I told my husband to stop acting as if she was already dead. I visualized her licking my face and me telling her to never scare us like that again.

I had training the next morning but my husband stayed home from work again just in case we got the call that someone had spotted her. A girl that led us to the Pet Finder site came up to me and was so happy that we found Bella. A lady saw her photo wearing the dress she had on the day she disappeared. She said all she could see was a pink sweater running.

So within 12 hours of me using LOA we found her and sure enough, I held her while she was licking my face and I told her to never ever scare us again!!
