The Secret has truly changed my life. This is my story. I was born in a small country called the Dominican Republic. When I was little, my mom would always tell my brother, sister and I about stories of her parents living in the US. So by the stories and excitement we came here. [Before knowing about The Secret] I was raised in New York from the time I was 8 to the time I was 19 years old. I moved to Utah at 19 from having problems back in New York, family problems, relationship problems, with friends etc. I had seen the movie The Secret but I never got into it. It never seemed to catch my attention. I’ve always wanted to live with my aunt and uncle. Through thoughts and feelings, it happened.

So I was doing better in New York and I had watched the movie again. And it caught my eye and I thought it was the most amazing thing. I was so inspired by it that I wanted to own a book. I went back to New York to visit my brother told me that he owns the book The Secret. But that he forgot it home, I had money at the time so I decided to order it online. Amazingly, it came and I’ve read through it. Every day and every day until it became a part of me. Living here in Utah with my military family has become an amazing experience. I remember that my family has been affected by hurricane Sandy that year (about a month I came back home in Utah) and they told me that they had lost power and even the heat. And my mom, who knows about The Secret, told me about the situation over the telephone. And so I told her that she should think and act as if she has light if not tonight, but tomorrow. A day passes by and she tells me that she had light and heat and it happened that night! It was amazing. I wrote it in my online journal and I thought it was amazing. And thanked for it and I saw it a few months after, and I couldn’t believe the things I had achieved while all those months happened!

I’ve become part of the US Air Force [I’ve always wanted to travel the world so by the Law I’ve attracted that as part of my travels.] I’m going to the Dominican Republic in a resort tomorrow! And I haven’t been there in almost 12 years! I became a US Citizen, I accomplished so many of these things! And I read and highlight this book every day and pay it with gratitude.

I thank Rhonda most of all because she had made that book and it completely changed my life. I quit my fast food job yesterday! I’m off to the World’s Greatest Air Force! I am now on the track of building bigger and better things just like the book has told me. And the words I live by every day that the book stated, “Of no way, a way will be made” because I don’t care about the hows, whens or wheres. I had also bought a blackboard and every day what I do is I write the date on top, then I wrote Goals: and next to that something I have to do today like some basic house chores or something that I have to remind myself for that day, and then going down I write Secret: and next to that I write a goal, but not just any goal but a message that’s written on the book The Secret. For example today I wrote Secret: Gratitude is the longest chapter! Give Extra Thanks today than usual for everything! And I write that the night before, wake up and see it right next to me. And then I mount it on the fridge whenever I pass the kitchen.

Another thing I do is that I have created a vision board just like the book mentioned, like the things that I wanted accomplished in my life. And I would mount it on the wall and I would see it every day. And as the book states, Feng Shui reflects a lot in the teachings of the Secret because one puts action into whatever they have in their home. So I have made a little game on my own, every day, I would change something in my room and house, something small that would put me into the things that I want. So I would for example, move something as small as a paperclip somewhere that creates positive feelings, and then the next day, I’d add something to my vision board, and then the next day I would change the sheets of my bed with one that’s new and has colors and brings happiness into my life. As I do those small things, my life will change in the long-term effect. In a few days, months or years, I would have a brand new room just like body 🙂
