My Spelling Bee Drama!

Canada, ONI am a girl in grade eight and I love life! I believe in the LOA and I believe in myself and you!
I just want to say thanks to The Secret Team for helping me realize my dreams and making a lot of other people also realize that dreams really do come true!
On Sat, Apr, 14th, 2012, the Spelling Bee of Milton had taken place. I wanted to try it out for the first time. They had given us a booklet with 400 words on it about two months ago before the actual spelling bee, but I had started late with only one month left. I was kind of stressed out while studying because I thought I would be facing better contestants who studied way more than I did, I was very scared.
A few days before the competition started, my Mom showed me this book she got from the spelling bee host. It showed pictures of all the winners from last year (the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners) holding their huge gold trophies. Right then and there I decided that I wanted to have that trophy no matter what.
The night before the spelling bee, I erased all of my negative thoughts and I visualized myself coming home with a big, shiny trophy. I didn’t even imagine all the details, I just imagined how I would feel that day, how excited I would be! The next morning, I tried to be in a happier mood. I woke up, turned on my radio to one of my favourite songs, and got ready for for the day. Instead of feeling frightened, I found myself excited. I wrote in my diary that I won first place even when the the spelling bee hadn’t happened yet.
At 9:45, I had reached the place where the competition was was supposed to take place. The competition was supposed to start at 10:00am, primary first, then junior, and then intermediate. When we got there, the host said they’ll be an hour or two late since their package of some sort didn’t arrive yet. I was so happy! I had two hours to spare. I didn’t really study for the free time I had because I just had a feeling that I would win.
Guess what? I didn’t come home with a first place trophy, but I did with the second place trophy and that’s enough for me! I am so happy! This is the first trophy in my house and I am so thankful!
What my story is trying to say to you, is that you should always keep faith. Even if you don’t believe in magic or in some cool belief, always ask yourself: Someone had to create this world, right? Someone/something had to create us, the dinosaurs, the trees, right? Someone/something created energy, it can’t just appear out of thin air (which someone also had to create). So why can’t it be The Law of Attraction, which most of us do believe in?
