This is the story of me manifesting a soul mate, of me getting into a relationship with a lovely lady.

It was time for me to get married, and I always wanted to find a suitable person to get married to. I always ended up in wrong relationships and being financially broke and heart broken too.

I started wondering why I attract the wrong person and then I read The Secret again. I started observing that I was focusing on qualities that I didn’t want in a soul mate and found that only those women having such qualities came into my life.

I also started making the mistake of trying to manifest a particular person, and that too ended up in nothing happening, except maybe a phone conversation and a cup of coffee.

I was totally upset and had decided to almost give up on getting married also and was planning a long trip to forget about all this and to decide that it was time to enjoy being single. I even underwent psychotropic treatment for depression.

This was the turning point. I started reading up on the internet on how to enjoy being single, and that only if you can enjoy your own company then only other people find you attractive. I started to enjoy my life, paid gratitude for whatever I have, and then I decided that rather than focusing on what I don’t want, and focusing on a particular person, let me focus on the kind of qualities I want in a person. So I ended up making a list of 16 qualities that I needed in a soul-mate.

For a few months nothing happened, and all the proposals that my parents or I had found were not to my liking; I couldn’t feel the soul connection among them. There is a certain feeling that you get, that feeling of instant connection, when you find someone you know is the right one for you.

I was anyway, fed up, but of course my mother was not the one to give up and she had placed my profile in the Hare Krishna Temple, and one day we got a all from the marriage department asking us to come see some profiles. I, as usual, was my cynical self, not interested, as I had decided to remain single & was enjoying life. Then a profile came across to me, which looked interesting. There were other fairer, prettier looking profiles, but something struck me about this person, and I choose this profile. We spoke to each other over the phone and we met. We got to know each other, and this was my soul-mate, my heart knew that she is the one for me and it beat faster with joy.

Within a few days we became very close, almost inseparable, our parents got involved and the rest is history. Within a few days we are getting engaged and 6 months from now we the wedding bells can be heard.
