I raised two kids as a single, working mom in the capital city of my country with support from some family members and friends. Throughout the years, I had a few relationships and a few breakups. There were also a few job changes. A long time ago, together with a friend, I watched the movie The Secret. After that, I bought The Secret book. I made it a habit to start visualizing my dream home. At that moment, I was still renting a home for the three of us.

At the age of 40, I bought our first house in Amsterdam. It was newly built and of a very good quality. Now, fifteen years later, my children are adults and have jobs of their own and their own places where they live. So, I decided to move back to another part of the country where I lived before I went to college.

I sold the house in Amsterdam with a surplus value, which I reinvested in my new home. Many times I am still surprised how many details of this new home have everything I dreamed about. The house is surrounded by a luscious garden, it has a garage and a driveway where two cars can be parked, a large hall and a large living room. The facade of the house is painted white, which I like. From the extended living room, you can walk into the garden and sit under a canopy. I am so happy and grateful for this new phase in my life. There are still some renovation projects necessary for this house, but that was also on my wish list. I express my gratitude every day. Moreover, I have very sweet neighbors, and I also met someone here with whom I might get into a relationship. Thank you!
