I got done reading The Secret a couple weeks ago. I’ve been trying to focus on the things that I want and stay positive. The other day I sat down on my couch (my old, lumpy, sunken in couch) and I moaned about how uncomfortable it was. But then I stopped myself, and I imagined myself sitting on a new comfy couch, and I tried to hold onto that feeling of comfort. Then I thanked the Universe for the couch I was going to receive, and also the old couch that had given me comfort in years past.

A couple of days later I decided to check Craigslist for a cheap couch (which is something I had done a few times before without any luck). The very first thing that came up was a FREE COUCH, that had been posted only a few hours earlier AND it was only a couple of miles from my home! As soon as I saw that post I KNEW that couch was meant to be mine. I immediately responded to the post saying I was interested, and two days later it was mine! It’s just what I wanted! And I never imagined it would have been free! I am so happy and grateful for the comfort I have now. My faith is growing every day. 🙂
