This is about my ‘lucky’ life, thanks to having a positive attitude and practicing positive thinking.

I believe it is because of my positive upbringing that I have always been a positive person. Over time, I learned how much thoughts and words influence our lives through various sources like Oprah, The Secret, and self-help books. When I was 19, I moved from Norway to London, expecting a brief stay. Surprisingly, I met my future husband just a week after arriving, and we have been happily married since 1995 with a wonderful 12 year old son.

Living in the south of France and Spain sparked my creativity. My sister’s gift of art inspired me to pursue painting seriously. It took some time, but in 2019, I decided to manifest my dream of becoming an artist. Out of nowhere, a friend offered me a pop-up exhibition in London, leading to more opportunities, including a gallery offer and a display opposite Harrods. Just as I was about to deliver 15 pieces to the shop, the COVID pandemic lockdown hit, but soon after, I sold 14 paintings to a friend’s family and made £15,000. When one door closes, another one opens!

After a quiet period due to a move, I refocused on my art. Within months, I had my work displayed in a local shop in Marbella, Spain. I was able to connect with other artists, which led to more exhibitions and collaborations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
