I began reading The Secret for the first time on March 24, 2008. On March 25th, 2008, I was confronted with a very difficult challenge in my business. It was a challenge that could have cost me and my business associates a lot of money. My first impulse was to go into panic mode, but because I had just started reading The Secret, I decided to put into practice one of the first things that I learned while reading the book. I put the Law of Attraction to work for me. I put out into the universe that the challenge that I was experiencing was not wall, but rather a learning opportunity, and that I was grateful to have the opportunity to learn from my mistake and that thanks to that lesson I was learning how to avoid making the same mistake in the future, therefore saving me lots of money and trouble while at the same time putting me in the position to make more money with less trouble. I also gave thanks in advance, because in my mind and heart I saw the issue as having been resolved without all the trouble that could come with it. I went to bed that evening knowing deep inside that the problem had been resolved and that all I had to do the next day was get up and receive what I asked for.

The next day I got up and drove to the first office that I needed to visit regarding this particular challenge. I arrived to find the receptionist waiting with a smile on her face. She did not know who I was or that I had a problem. I gave her the paperwork I needed to be worked on, and she quickly proclaimed that it would all be taken care of that day, and she did this without giving me the kind of negative feedback or trouble that would usually accompany my situation. Next I went to my business office and began to make the phone calls that I needed to make in order to resolve the issue. As I dialed each number I gave thanks because I knew that everything was already fixed before I even made the call. One by one I made each call, and one by one the pieces fell right into place without a problem.

By the end of the day I my challenge had been overcome. There was no money lost, no legal action taken. And today, the day after, I’m sitting here with all the final documents in my possession, all approved and all filed away.

I know that the reason why I was able to overcome my challenge was because I believed in the power of the Secret. I put it to work for me, and I received its positive energy in return. For this I give thanks.
