My Imagined Husband Became A Reality!
Submitted by: Red V
Baked bean town, INDI am a happy mother of a boy, soon to-be-mom of a baby girl and an intensely adored wife of a great husband.
At the outset I would like to thank the entire team of The Secret and especially Ms. Rhonda Byrne who brought out this wonderful concept in a simple manner and has reached out to so many people.
Long before I heard about the Law of Attraction from my sister, who told me about The Secret book, I always believed that we design our own lives. So many incidences in my life made this belief even stronger. I had attracted the college I wanted, the course I wanted and even the best bedroom in our house with a great view of the park opposite the house. It happens to be the only room with a view of the park.
Today I want to share a story about how I married the perfect guy that I had sought for so long. When I was about 14, I started having feelings for this guy who was a friend of my sister. I didn’t know much about him because I was such an introvert that every time he came to our home I would just go into my room and lock myself in. I just imagined all his qualities, without having the courage to even speak to him.
This went on for a few months and I had a clear mental list of all his imagined great qualities down to his choice of colors and how he would react to certain situations. But somehow I had trouble visualizing him in those situations. I would only hear the dialogue I would have with him, but not see the picture.
Towards the end of this period, he moved to a different country and out of my life, but I kept thinking about how beautiful my life would be if I could really meet a person with all those qualities that I had imagined.
10 years later, I had an arranged marriage with a guy I knew for just 3 months.
And guess what?
He had all those exact qualities that I wanted my life partner to have, down to the small details of his favorite color and favorite movie.
We are now married for 7 years and are still madly in love with each other.
So all those who are looking for a loving relationship, my advice is to give love to your feelings every time you think about that relationship. Feel happy that your loved one is close by and will present themselves when you are ready to welcome them into your life.
As for the first guy I was infatuated with, I just let him go. There were no sad feelings because I knew my perfect partner would come when I was ready to start a new life.
