Here’s how I know the Law of Attraction works and why I believe in it…. Years ago I put out a wish for my ideal man. It wasn’t a complicated list. I asked my guides, “How about it?”, laughed, and then forgot. This is long before The Secret was ever written, by the way. What I didn’t realize was my guides had a very big sense of humour.

Months later I got my ideal man – he’s my beloved dog. 😀 There isn’t one thing on the list I didn’t get. There is one thing I forgot to mention when making my wish – I didn’t put human on the list. 😀 Those guides must have been crying with laughter when they realized and decided on a dog.

From the moment I saw him, with his big head peering over the top of a fence, I knew we recognized each other and what we were to be together – the ideal couple even if we are different species. I said I wanted someone to go out with and now three times a day for thirteen years I go out every day. 😀 He’s handsome, smart, intelligent, funny, kind, and a good Father to our son who is a cat. Loved by people and dogs alike. I’ve never had one day where I regretted taking in my Man. I think that he’s pretty happy how things turned out too.

I told this story for many years to people who I doubt knew whether to believe it or not, but that doesn’t matter because I know it’s true. My wish was granted and I attracted just what I asked for. This is a little reminder that when you wish, make sure you get the details right. 😀

When I saw The Secret all things became clear about how we came together. It explains the unhappiness and problems in my life and it explains the greatest happiness I ever received in my life. Now I am working on attracting more of what I really want in life and understanding how the rest of what I didn’t want happened. 😀
