My Dreams Coming True
Submitted by: JJ
Potcefstroom, South AfricaI'm a 16 year old trying to find her place in life and trying to make the journey as fun as possible.
Firstly, I would like to thank Rhonda and her team for giving and teaching me how to use this amazing gift. Thank you so, so much. You’ve changed my whole life.
Okay, so my story is pretty simple. I come from a middle class home, where everyone is kinda just doing their own thing. I’m the middle child so sometimes I do feel lost and feel like I don’t quite fit in. I’m still learning to come to my full potential. I have read The Secret and also watched it, but I never really understood the power behind it. I would use it, but then fail miserably after. Here’s the first time it became real to me.
A few months ago I got this amazing opportunity to go on an exchange program to Germany. I was so excited, but the minute I told my dad about it he shot it down. We couldn’t afford anything like that. It was four weeks in a strange country filled with strangers, he said. I didn’t give up. And eventually he said yes.
So the next day we signed up and we immediately got tasks for me to complete as a part of choosing the candidates. I completed every one of them, while in my heart thinking and believing that I am already going to be accepted. After I sent the tasks in, I waited and waited. Still I believed that I would get chosen.
And a few weeks later I got a email saying that I got in!
I was so happy, but deep inside I knew it was going to happen.
The next thing I want to do is try to lose some weight. All my life I have struggled with my weight and I even tried to use the LOA to achieve my perfect body, but it never quite happened. I would lose probably like 2 KG’s and then pick up 5 a few weeks later. But then I thought, if I could get the opportunity to go to Germany, then I can just as easily achieve my goal of weighing 50 KG. And I could do it easily.
So this time I’m not giving up. I am going to achieve my perfect body.
Thank you so much for reading my story. God bless you.
