Four years ago, I was a divorced mother of two, working as a Nurse. I had always struggled with making ends meet and dealing with work and raising my two daughters on my salary. Well, my youngest daughter gave me the book “The Secret” telling me it was interesting and that I should read it. Well, I read it and went online to research the book. It made perfect sense to me. It was as if a light had been turned on in my head.

Well, I did exactly as it told me to do. I had recently met through a mutual friend, a very nice and recently widowed millionaire. I wrote on a picture of him that I was given by the mutual friend, “My New Husband”. I also wrote on pictures of his beautiful mansion, “My New Home”. Well, we met first on the telephone and talked for a few weeks. Then we had our first blind date on Valentine’s Day and the rest is history! I acknowledged what I wanted, I believed it, I lived it, and so it became my life.

Four months after meeting I had fallen in love and my millionaire proposed and asked me to retire early from my job so he and I could travel and spend time together. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time. Everything was falling into place, just the way I wanted and expected. Don’t get me wrong, there were obstacles, but, I didn’t give up or let doubt take over.

After retiring, I then moved into his condo by the beach, where we lived together for one year. Then he bought me a home and then a Mercedes Sports car for Valentine’s Day. We then moved into his mansion and he purchased another home for me so my youngest daughter and her family could live there.

My life is a dream come true! I had to pinch myself every day to make sure I am not sleeping. I give thanks every day for such wonderful blessings. Being human, we tend to get too relaxed and we forget. Well, the other day I bought some furniture at a garage sale. I love garage sales, even now. I am still furnishing my other house. Well, I had not read The Secret in a long time and I had never seen the DVD. Looking through the entertainment center that I had purchased at the garage sale, guess what I found? A DVD of The Secret! I was so excited, I watched it and once again, that light, that feeling was back.

After watching the DVD, I took it to my daughter, the one that had given me the book, and I told her to watch it. My daughter was stressed out raising two small children, a husband stressed from his work and they had been having a rocky time in their relationship.

Well, it was as if once again “A light had turned on” from night, to day! She called me and was glowing with happiness. She was once again reminded of The Secret. She is applying it to achieve her business goals and to help her deal with the stress of life.
