So there are two female stray dogs in my colony. Me and my family feed them and they stay at our home the whole day but we haven’t adopted them because we all have jobs and can’t be there all the time. Every 6 months they go into heat and all the male dogs are continuously behind them and our dogs hide from them by slipping under some car and staying there most of the time. I had always wanted to go and get our females sterilized because they can have pups who die on the streets due to traffic  plus they themselves have to try to find food and shelter. My family said that we do as much as we can for them.

It was not possible for me alone to take them to the vet and get them sterilized. It frustrated me so much that I am not able to take care of them and how much they are suffering. So I decided to use The Secret and gratitude. I thanked God for the fact that the female dogs are healthy, well-fed and loved by us. That they have shelter at our home during summers and the rainy season and that they have each other. This went on for about a month. Then just today, a girl came to my home telling me that she used to feed them when they were pups and she already has planned to get sterilized this year.
