My boyfriend and I had a wonderful year together. Shortly after one year, we had a situation with trust issues (not cheating or anything). We both handled poorly and rather than him dealing with the situation, he withdrew and went into his cave. He didn’t take my phone calls or texts. He did this for almost 3 weeks. It drove me crazy because we had never talked it out and heard each other’s side of the story or discussed. Kind of childish. I was so hurt and started thinking I deserve better than this. I have always had unconditional love and treated him wonderfully.

I realized I was letting my work slip, my relationship with my kids and others were strained, and I was consumed with trying to get him to talk to me. I had contacted his brother and sister – who both claimed he escapes and doesn’t cope with problems after his divorce because his wife was unfaithful. OK, I have never been faithful. I know we are both not perfect but this is something so small compared to all we had.

I started imagining him coming out of his cave and feeling bad for how he treated me. I didn’t think bad thoughts about him… just him waking up and realizing we need to deal with things to move on and become stronger.

I actually wrote this out on a paper, that I was so happy and grateful now that my boyfriend has texted me that he feels so bad for how he treated me, misses me, loves me, and wants to see me.

The picture played out almost exactly as I imagined. We are taking it slow but still love each other with all of our hearts!

The difficult part is truly feeling and believing. You have to believe it is already yours and not waiver. Sometimes when you are not seeing the results right away or it is the opposite of what you imagined, we seem to get frustrated and drift away from our vision. Just keep on believing and feeling as if you already have it. Be excited and feel it with all of your heart and it will be yours!
