I would like to thank you for writing The Secret book as it has truly changed my life. When I read The Secret book I was just getting by, not really living. I was working constantly to make ends meet. I hardly got to see my daughter and I was permanently stressed.

I had always loved my job as a hairdresser. When I opened my salon 7 years ago, it was like a dream come true. I had no idea how hard running my own business would be. One of the many problems was my salon itself. It was a very old shop and my landlord had no interest in maintaining any of it. Several times I begged him to let me buy the shop off him and he would just laugh and say I could not afford it.

One day I decided to treat myself to a hairdressing course were I meet a guy who told me to read The Secret. I took his advice and it was the best advice I have ever taken.

Within 3 months of reading The Secret my life changed for the better.  I meet the most amazing man who is fabulous to me and my daughter. I found the perfect new salon on the same street as my original one. The day I found the salon was like being stuck by lightning My daughter had been invited to a birthday picnic in the park. I was unable to take her as I was working so one of the other mothers offered to take her for me. Then as the afternoon went on, all of my clients phoned and rearranged their appointments leaving me a free afternoon. So I decided to join the picnic.

I sat in the park watching the girls play and for some reason something told me to look up and there it was! How I never noticed before I do not know! A shop unit with an auction sign sticking out of the side of it! Now the trouble with auctions is that you need to move quickly. I had no how ideas how I was going to get the money but I knew I would.

The next 3 weeks went by as if I had written it. My bank agreed to the mortgage. My parents lent me the deposit and despite the interest in the salon, all my competitors at the auction dropped out. I will never be able to fully explain all the amazing things that have happened since reading The Secret. I will always be grateful that I did read and follow The Secret and I am amazed at how wonderful life can be.
