I began reading The Power for the 4th time one night when I was feeling rather down. My finances were very low and I had some bills to pay and my daughter’s 16th birthday was coming up. I didn’t see how I could afford to buy her any presents and she was looking forward to a nice birthday.

In The Power as well as in The Secret it is stated that one should try to manifest something small in order to gather faith that you can actually manifest something grand. So, I decided I was going to manifest a $100 bill. I needed the money so badly so I thought it was a perfect thing.

I began to think of myself holding a crisp $100 bill in my hands. I could smell the bill, feel it and I was grateful that I had received it. I imagined that I was receiving the bill from someone and I was laughing and smiling and hugging that person. I did this for about a week.

One morning one of my co-workers came into my classroom and gave me a gift that she purchased for me while she was on a trip to DisneyWorld. It was a candy bar, but it was wrapped in a fake $100 bill. I couldn’t belive it! I laughed so hard as I looked up to the ceiling and silently said thank you for this gift, but I would really like a REAL $100 bill that I can spend, give, and save.

When I got home I checked my mailbox and in it was a card. I opened it and and the card read “do you still believe in The Secret? I do…” and with it was a check for $1,000. It was from my ex husband. I almost fell on the floor. I never told anyone I was trying to manifest money. I never mentioned The Secret or The Power to one soul.

I called my ex-husband immediately and thanked him for this wonderful gift and asked him why he thought he should give me $1,000 out of the blue. He said he had just sold an old car and wasn’t feeling right about not helping me pay for our daughter’s braces the year before.

I truely believe that The Secret and The Power work! I am a true believer and will now begin to manifest even more wonderful things in my life! Thank you for these wonderful books!!!!
