Due to the Christmas holidays, I got paid in advance so I had to go on some sort of budget in order to see the following week through financially. But that wasn’t the case for me. I only had $25 by the first week of Jan 2017. I am a firm believer of The Secret since I got introduced to it by a former flatmate in 2007.

So I decided that I was going to get through this week without any problems. On the 2nd of Jan 2017 a good old friend reached out to me and asked me to write out my shopping list of what I needed to get by for the next two weeks. But she told me that there might be a bit of a delay in getting my groceries as she had to get it approved first from someone in authority. It didn’t make sense to me but I was still grateful. Turns out, she was working for a church organisation. Long story short, I got my groceries delivered to me by midday Friday 5 Jan 2017.

On the same day my sister texted me asking if I needed some money. I just told her $40 would be enough till the following week when my pay goes through. She sent it and I thanked her in advance. The money didn’t come through straight away due to it being sent on the weekend but I never gave up giving thanks for the money in my account. Before midday on Monday I got notification via text from my bank that $80 was transferred to my account. This was amazing, from a $40 request I received double that. It may not be a huge amount but it truly showed me that if I just let go and believe, anything can happen.

It may not be how I imagined but the Universe provided for me in a miraculous way. So now I won’t worry about how things will work out, I will just believe and know it is going to happen. Now I am ready for many more miracles. My 2017 started off with a great big bang! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
