Miracles do happen!

MexicoForeign-trained pharmacist who plans to work in the U.S.
It is very challenging to get the required score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language-Internet Based Test (TOEFL.IBT), especially for non-native American speakers like my self. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP U.S.) requires foreign-trained pharmacists to have at least a score of 24 in the reading section, 18 in the listening, 26 in the speaking, and 24 in the writing, with at least an overall score of 89. Unfortunately, it’s very common for foreign-trained professionals who are non-native American speakers to retake the TOEFL.IBT before they could get their desired scores. Usually it took us 3-6 takes before we could surpassed it. Technically, I made it on my first try, that’s why I’m really convinced that it was a miracle.
I took the TOEFL.IBT Exam last October 08 here in Mexico. I had to apply for a rescore since my score in the speaking part was not sufficient to meet the NABP and Visa Screen requirements, even though I did very well in the other three sections. My initial score in the speaking section was 24 (fair-fair-good). With the help of a lot of prayers, positive thinking, visualization with the use of a vision board, and unyielding faith in God, my score was increased to 26 (good-good-fair).
Anyway, my total score was bumped up from 108 to 110. And yes I made it! Basically, while waiting for the results of my rescoring, I visualized receiving a final grade of 26 in the speaking part, and an overall score of 110 in the TOEFL.IBT. This just proves that when we do our visualization, we must always picture the end result. Actually, we don’t need to know how it’s going to come about. We don’t need to know how the Universe will rearrange itself. We must simply believe and allow it to happen.
