I told myself if everything came together perfectly then I would write my experience on the website so here it goes!

I had read The Secret and The Power years ago, but kind of lost touch with it due to my hectic life, always on the go. I live in Manhattan and have always worked corporate jobs but I quit to waitress so I could pursue my long time dream of being a singer. During this time as a waitress I was making great money at a fabulous restaurant and meeting a lot of great people! Without thinking about it, I guess I was too happy to feel lonely, I met my fiance. After we met my hours were cut at the restaurant because new management came in and hired friends and pretty much pushed everyone who was there before out, and left me broke with no where to live. My boyfriend lived 2 hours away and knew I needed to be in Manhattan until his lease was up in February so we could move together. So he loaned me the couple thousand dollars I needed to have a home. I was depressed and hated the thought of him having to loan me money. I felt like a failure. The Secret popped into my head and I went on the website all day, for days, and just read stories and started visualizing again and being thankful.

I knew I didn’t want to waitress again but thought it would be great if I could work for a music production company to make connections. The very next day I saw a listing for a job for a well respected music company. I had no experience working for a music company as I came from a fashion background, but had faith. I was contacted for an interview 3 minutes later. I had no idea who I was interviewing with, and it ended up being for one of the biggest male artists in the world! I can’t disclose his name but he’s A list and I got hired on the spot! Not only that, but me and my boss are great friends and I am meeting the biggest people in entertainment in the world. My relationship with my fiance was going really bad because I was so down on myself and stopped loving myself. Because of my situation I pushed him away. I started believing in myself again and loved myself regardless, and now our relationship is better than ever!!! Its amazing! He is so sweet and supportive and passionate towards me again!

In order for us to move by Feb we had to sell my boyfriend’s car and get approved, even though he has bad credit and makes 6 figures. People were falling through left and right with the car and no one was coming to see it. We had less than 2 weeks and I wrote in my journal we would sell it by Saturday and we did and for a great price!

Then I wrote my lucky number is 24 so I wanted to find a place by the 24th. We searched and searched. Real Estate in Manhattan is crazy and getting approved for a place is so hard. Brokers were crazy and every place we saw was terrible! We were so discouraged. Then yesterday we found our DREAM PLACE. Everything I wrote down from fireplace, elevator, street and everything, but the broker fee was expensive. We found out today on the 24th that we couldn’t get the place unless we gave them three months security. The place was $3,000 so we had to give them $9,000 plus first months rent and the 12 percent broker fee which amounted to $16,680 and we only had $9,000. My boyfriend told his boss about it, and his boss advanced us the extra money we needed to get the place.

We just signed the lease! I also really want to learn the art of burlesque dancing and a broker I met, who was great, randomly told me about this amazing place in the city that has burlesque and also has different kinds of classes for only 15 dollars!!

Not to mention I love vintage, and it’s one of the most sought out historic buildings in Manhattan. The ground floor has vestibules of Numidian marble and Mexican onyx, and apartments finished in white enamel and gold leaf with mantels in the style of Louis XV, Louis XVI and Renaissance Rococo, according to The Record and Guide.

Life is amazing and the power of positive thinking and visualization really works!!! Please never give up or be discouraged!
