Before I start with my story, I’d like to thank the creators of The Secret. Thank you for sharing this beautiful knowledge with the us. You truly made this world a better place.
As you have figured from the name of this story, this is going to be about weight loss.
I have been practicing the law of attraction for years now. Many of my dreams came true because of this knowledge: I got into the college of my dreams and published my first novel successfully. For some reason, however, I didn’t think of using this skill of mine for weight loss. I guess, I was just so programmed to think that only diet and exercise could help. Only a couple of weeks ago, after another diet failure I decided that it’s time to try and use the law of attraction on this area of my life as well.
I did not just want a weight loss, I wanted a fast weight loss. My goal was -5 kg in 5 days, and guess what? I got it. In fact, I dropped 6!
I wrote down my goal weight on the day I wanted to receive it on the calendar. Every day this calendar was right there in front of my eyes, and I made sure I felt excited about being the weight that I wanted to be. Everyday I dedicated some time for visualization. I imagined my body change. I imagined, what would it feel like to be 62kgs again. Another powerful thing that I did was dedicate my time to cleaning out my closet from all the things I thought I wasn’t gonna wear when I lost weight. I can’t emphasize it enough, how powerful this mechanism was for me. It’s essential to feel like you already have the body you want. Often times just imagining is not enough. Your behavior has to be in harmony with images in your head.
Another thing that I did was use the scales as my friend. I know, it’s not recommended to step on the scales during the loa weight loss at all, but I decided, I could use them as another mechanism of attracting my goal weight. Everyday I told myself I would be minus 1kg in the morning, and of course, the very next morning I was. During the five days of the experiment I only wore the clothes I always wanted to wear, but was too afraid too, because of my extra kilos. Now, this was a little uncomfortable at first, but I brainwashed myself to enjoy it. I tricked my mind into thinking I was looking good, and in five days I was.
I hope this post helps someone out there, who wants to lose weight. I didn’t diet or go to the gym. Only the law of attraction! Once again I can’t express how thankful I am to the creators of The Secret and the Universe!
