I was introduced to The Secret when I was a senior in high school. It was great, but I never thought that good things could happen to me. I still doubted myself, and I forgot all about The Secret for a long time.

However, I decided to take the idea of visualization to heart. I’m a HUGE fan of Matisyahu, and when I heard that he was coming to my city for his Festival of Light tour, I was ecstatic!!! I bought a ticket online, but I didn’t have enough to buy a backstage pass. But I was STILL determined to meet him.

I kept visualizing what it would be like to meet Matisyahu. I knew that the Law of Attraction would give me what I wanted. Overall, I felt GOOD about myself while I kept saying “I KNOW that I will meet Matisyahu. It WILL happen.” I was already grateful that I was going to meet him.

So a couple of weeks before the show, the fan club posted a chance for fans to meet him if they hung posters all over the city of SF as a promotion. I emailed the president of the fan club, and he mailed me a huge stack of posters. I hung them all over town and my college campus. Then I emailed the fan club the photos I took of the posters I hung, and guess what?? I received 2 FREE concert tickets and backstage passes!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. I literally jumped up and down as I screamed “THANK YOU!!!!”

Seeing Matisyahu live was AMAZING!!! The show was beyond my expectations. I went with my dad, he had a great time, too. After the show was over, I got in line to go backstage to meet him. I was so nervous, but when it was my turn to greet Matisyahu, all I kept thinking was, “Wow. He’s REAL!!!” I walked up to him and gave him the biggest hug ever. He was really nice and sweet. We hugged for a long time. I got to say a few things to Matisyahu, and we took a picture together. He even autographed my concert ticket.

I still can’t believe it happened to me, but with the power of the mind and of visualization, ANYTHING can happen. I will forever be grateful.
