Medals were won!!!

Madison, WII have worked in the medical field for 15 years and have a wonderful husband and four children.
My daughter Meg is a ten year old Irish Dancer. She was recently in a competition in Milwaukee. We have always checked results after each dance in the past to see how she did. This time after reading The Secret we came up with a new plan. I told her to imagine all of the 20 girls on stage with her as her really great friends, you are not even competing against them it’s just for fun! I also told her to imagine getting all of the medals she wanted today to reach her goal of a beautiful new Solo Dress (a shiny, beautiful dress every girl dreams of) . She smiled and danced like she never had before, telling herself the whole time that it was all just for fun and to meet new friends.
At the end of the day we walked to the result board and she knew with absolute uncertainty that she was going to get all of the medals she needed to move on. She DID! She even picked out a medal holder for two medals before she knew she received any at all. Meg is very good at this and I really learned a powerful lesson from my darling 10 year old.
