Meaning of True Happiness
Submitted by: Sandy
Germantown, MarylandI have two wonderful children that I have been raising on my own since they were 2 and 4 years old, and they are now 22 and 23. I have been with the same job for 15 years, and I have a pretty wonderful life.
In April of 2007, my sister-in-law came to see me after the last of my six operations for Basal Cell Carcinoma, and gave me the DVD of The Secret, thinking that it would help me heal. I put the DVD to the side and never watched it, because I was feeling so down about how my face looked after all the operations – my face was basically destroyed.
My sister came to stay with me about a week later. One of her friends sent her the book of The Secret. I asked her if I could skim through it before she started reading it. Let me tell you, after the first couple of pages, I couldn’t put it down, and I couldn’t wait to come home from work to start reading again.
I am here to tell you what a difference it has made in my life. The happiness you feel is so incredible, and you just start looking at life in a more positive light. I started thinking back about when I would think negative, negative things happened, and when I truly wanted something and thought more positive, positive things would happen.
This book has completely transformed my life, and I am no longer embarrassed of my face. And to tell you the truth, it has actually started looking better, and I have had many people ask me, “What have you done different, you look great.”
This book has really helped me realize the true meaning of happiness, and true happiness from the inside out.
I am so grateful for The Secret. I read it every day and I am truly excited about the outcome in my life for the first time in my life.
Thank you and I am truly grateful.
