Many blessings…
Submitted by: Remi
BarbadosI'm a student of life and the universe which has graciously granted my needs more than once. Mum to a healthy, happy, and inquisitive boy.
Where to begin….
So many times the universe has answered my call for all kinds of things; some big, some little. Many times I left home in the boiling sun and said out loud, “Lord I wish somebody would give me a ride and get me out of this sun.” On many occasions within a few minutes I’ve received just that – often from complete strangers. The same has happened during rainstorms.
It was my mum who first opened my mind to the possibilities of the universe. She read widely and encouraged me to do the same. When I was about 14 I first gained knowledge about our subconscious and how we often sabotage our own dreams by negative thinking. From then on I resolved to reverse negative thinking and its manifestation in my life as much as possible.
I worked in a very high stress job when I was pregnant and I determined there was no way my child was getting damaged by any negative energies emanating from that mess. Every day I started eating lunch away from the office no matter what! I’d visit the nearby shopping centre where I’d made a few friends and I’d put my feet up and relax and enjoy my lunch. I’d found an old copy of “The Amazing Results of Positive Thinking” and decided to put it into use. I just projected a peaceful centre around myself (kind of like the eye of a storm) and quietly verbalised to the universe, “My child will be a healthy, happy, and loving child, perfectly made by God. Nothing and no-one will pass their damaging, negative energy to my child or cause him/her damage in any way.” I verbalised these sentiments daily for over 4 months, picturing my baby in my arms smiling, healthy, and cooing, and God has blessed me with just that. What a joy!
More recently I threw out to God/universe that I needed a way to get $3000 sooner rather than later. This would form the basis of a car downpayment fund. Sure enough my call was answered. One day my phone rang and an insurance guy called to offer me a settlement re. an auto accident from early this year. The amount was to be just over $3000. Amazingly, on the day I picked the cheque up it was even bigger than discussed! The gentleman explained that the excess cash was indeed mine and that they had added money to cover my therapy and loss of earnings. I was blown away…
For the last few months I’ve been working on getting my own wheels. Now I’m just doing the maths to get the best deal possible. Each day and night I declare that I’m getting the car which best suits my needs; it is attractive, comfortable, and safe, with all the features I want, is reliable, great on gas, and is the right price for me. I picture my son and me smiling, happy, and excited as we receive the key from the dealer/seller, I smell the ‘new car smell’, and we laugh as we drive off in total comfort enjoying the brilliant sunshine and the beautiful breeze….
I’ve printed out my blank checks to the Universe and I’m going for the gold. Tonight I’m writing them up and will wait on the results. I KNOW once something is for me I will receive it as a blessing one way or another, and all in His time, *not* my time. Every setback I’ve encountered has been a chance to change and grow in the direction I most need to, and so I accept the outcome with grace. My DVD is on order and I can’t wait to dig into it and share it with others.
Will keep you posted. Stay positive and love life.
