My husband and I were together for 13 years before we got married because neither one of us made it a priority to get married until we experienced the most difficult situation that we had ever experienced in our relationship. So, we made the decision to stay together and work it out. We also decided that part of working it out meant that we wanted to get married and make a sacred commitment to each other. So, on October 20, 2023, we got married at the courthouse. It was perfect for us.

We did not go on a honeymoon because we didn’t have childcare or resources to take a trip at that particular time. I decided that I wanted to go on a trip for our one year anniversary. I had been talking to my husband about it since we got married to make sure that he would also like to take a trip for our anniversary celebration. He agreed.

We decided to go to Tahiti and Moorea for six days total and it seems that everything leading up to the trip is coming along easily and effortlessly. Many opportunities have opened up, and we have an abundance of resources to take the trip. The Universe has made a way for us to take this trip for our one year anniversary.

Per the book, The Magic, you should always say, thank you, thank you, thank you, when the Universe gives you what you ask for. I am so happy and grateful now that I am enjoying quality time with my husband because we made the decision to get married, and we make the decision to choose each other every single day. Cheers!
