I have been a staunch believer in The Secret since 2013. I got introduced to it while surfing for something on the net and was immediately attracted to it. I realized that I had used it many times in my life. Sometimes I attracted good things and sometimes bad things too. When I became aware of what I was asking for, I could really use this power.

So this story is about getting a job offer at the exact time I wanted it! I quit my job last year after moving back to my hometown with my parents. I realized I was burned out at my then current job and working from home was not helping the situation either. I decided suddenly to take a break and spend some time with my family. Everybody told me to not quit without having another job offer in my hand but I had enough faith that I would manage something good when the right time came.

For almost 7 months I didn’t even feel like working. I was at home with my parents and enjoying the time with them. I learned gardening and cooking, did some online courses, and got close with my inner self. I realized I didn’t want to work in my previous industry. I wanted a role change. So I started applying for jobs for which I had zero experience or skillset. I just knew that something that was different than my previous job would come to me when the time was right. I didn’t get disheartened when I was rejected because I trusted the process.

After around 3 months of applying without any results, I saw an opening in a company where my friend worked. I asked her to refer me internally, knowing that the role was completely different from what I had experience in. Next, everything just magically fell into place after that, without me even trying! Even before the process started I had a feeling I had this job! The process went so smoothly. I even got a good hike in salary from my previous job, without any experience or skills! I did everything without caring about the result and just focused on what was at hand. Even if I didn’t get the offer, I had full belief in myself that I could do anything, and that the Universe loves me!

I want to thank all the people who post their stories here because you don’t know whose day you’re making, pals! I hope my story gives someone the needed push and the motivation to never give up on their dreams.
