CaliforniaTurning 30 and feeling amazing!!!
First I just want to thank Rhonda Byrne and tell everyone that The Power works! Please buy this book!! Also, coming on to this website whenever I am feeling a lack of faith has really helped me to change my frame of mind at any point in the day. All of these things provide me with so much inspiration so I felt I had to share how much these teachings have helped me as well.
In her book, The Power, Rhonda Byrne says that you must give LOVE and only LOVE. NO MATTER WHAT. Turn away from negative things and don’t give them any power — instead, turn to the things you love and give that all of your energy and love it to the fullest because you will get it back! You receive what you give out — so only give LOVE!
I can honestly say that after reading this book, my life has really turned around. A year ago at this time, I was heartbroken, confused, unhappy, and totally hopeless. I look at my life then and can’t believe how different everything is. Since then, I moved away, changed my career to my passion, and have an amazing man in my life. And I feel like things just keep getting better.
I know that when I go on this site I want to know what people actually did to manifest things so I will tell you what I did (and what I still do):
I use gratitude — it has amazing powers. I literally walk around throughout my day giving thanks to everyone and everything. Even if I am on the phone with student loan people — I think to myself how much I love them. I write on a piece of paper over and over “I love you for making it possible for me to go to school” until I feel really good about it. With my relationship, I thank the universe every day for him being in my life. Whenever he does something nice for me or says something that makes me feel good, I thank the universe for bringing that to me. And I just keep getting more of it!!!
When I get up in the morning, I don’t get out of bed until I feel really good about all of the things in my life. I even say thank you for the good night of sleep I had or for my comfortable bed. If I am starting to feel bad about any relationship, I write down everything I love about that person and read it over and over until I feel amazing and am filled with love for that person. I find that even when you write down things that you would like them to do that they didn’t do before and you give gratitude for those things — the person responds accordingly!
Trust me — feel gratitude, feel love, and good things will come. Thank you everyone for sharing their stories! And thank you Rhonda Byrne for bringing this Power to all of us!
