All my life I have loved this candy and it was been a great source of joy and a delicious inspiration when I needed encouragement! Recently I went on a cleansing diet which excluded sugars so, of course, malted milk balls were on that list of no-nos. The cleanse went well and a lot of changes happened that would take too long to write out, but the main thing is that the cleanse accomplished all I wanted it to.

At the end of it, I was beginning to change the way I eat though still maintaining the no-no list! A candy store a few blocks from my work sells the most amazing milk balls, but they are sold in several pound bags. Knowing that I could not trust myself yet with that size, I told my daughter, who I work with, that it would sure be nice if they sold smaller bags. Just mentioned that out of the blue not thinking anything, which I guess was operating in The Secret mode without really being aware. When my daughter came back, she gently laid on my desk a little bag with six malted milk balls tied with a pink bow! Now, isn’t that amazing?!
